Easy Cheesy Pepperoni Lasagna | East Texas Moms


Marie’s Easy Cheesy Pepperoni Lasagna


1 box of lasagna noodles

1 24 oz jar of pasta sauce (I use Bertolli, 5 cheese)

1 8oz container cottage cheese

1 8 oz bag of Mozzarella cheese

¼ of a cup of Parmesan cheese


Mixing bowl

Baking dish

Cooking spray


Garlic Gold



Crush Red Pepper


~Boil water and cook 9-10 lasagna noodles. (I use 9, but cook 10 in case 1 breaks)

~Mix a little more than half of the jar of pasta sauce with the cottage cheese in a mixing bowl.

~Sprinkle some salt, pepper, oregano, crushed red pepper and garlic gold into the sauce to taste.

~Spray the bottom of your baking dish with the cooking spray

~Spread about 4 tablespoons of the cottage cheese sauce mix on the bottom of your baking dish or enough to cover the bottom.  Remember you will use this mixture for, 3 more layers of the lasagna.

~Lay 3 lasagna noodles long way, beside one another.

~Spread about 1/4 of the cottage cheese sauce mix on top of the noodles evenly.

~Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the cottage cheese sauce mix.

~Place pepperonis on top of the cheese. (I just line them up, one after the other or you could sprinkle them and you can use however many you want

~Layer 3 more lasagna noodles, long way, beside one another on top of the cheese.

~Spread more of the cottage cheese sauce mix on top of the noodles evenly.

~Sprinkle more mozzarella cheese on top of the cottage cheese sauce mix evenly.

~Place pepperonis on top of the cheese.

~Repeat these steps until you are out of noodles. (I use about 9 noodles in total)

~Once you have finished the layers, top it evenly with mozzarella cheese, some Parmesan cheese and any seasonings you want, like Oregano, crushed red pepper, salt and pepper to taste.

~Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes until the outer edges start to brown.

~Let it sit for a few minutes and enjoy with Caesar salad or garlic bread.
